Forbes has unveiled its 11th installment of America’s Richest Self-Made Women, and some recognizable names in music and pop culture are on the list.Published on Wednesday (June 3), the ranking includes 43 self-made billionaire women across the nation, with ABC Supply owner and chairwoman Diane Hendricks, who has an estimated net worth of $21.7 billion, topping the list for the 9th year in a row.Also positioned on the list are Beyoncé and Rihanna, whose empires span music, beauty and hair care, at No. 39 with a $1 billion net worth; entrepreneur and reality television star Kim Kardashian at No. 25 with a net worth of $1.9 billion; and the highest-grossing tour artist of all time, Taylor Swift, at No. 23 with a $2 billion net worth. Media tycoon Oprah Winfrey, who was declared a billionaire in the early 2000s, sits at No. 16 with a net worth of $3.4 billion.“This year’s ranking reflects a major shift in where wealth is being created,” said Luisa Kroll, executive editor of Forbes. “Women are building billion-dollar businesses in some of the fastest-moving sectors of the economy, particularly artificial intelligence, software and consumer platforms, while also turning personal brands into powerful business empires.”
