Cosplay Models Selling "Feet Juice" At California Anime Festival | 100.7 WMMS
In case you weren’t aware, this is what we’ve come to as a society. A side event called Parkon, held outdoors alongside this year's Fanime Con anime festival in San Jose, gave attendees the option to buy a product no beverage company has yet attempted to market: fruit juice steeped in the feet of cosplay models. Young women in costume set up signs advertising what they called "feet juice," with their bare feet soaking in buckets of the stuff, and charging $10 to $15 a glass.
According to multiple attendees, it sold out in under an hour. Some sellers reportedly offered to let buyers drink juice dripping directly from their wet feet. Parkon is an unofficial outdoor gathering held adjacent to Fanime Con, with an open-door policy that allows anyone to show up and do whatever they want. The Fanime Con organization itself had no involvement with the event or the product.
