Bodybuilders show off muscles at Southeast Asian championships
Myanmar has entered 39 bodybuilders in the 20th Southeast Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships in Yangon, where the five-day event is being held from May 14 to 18 at the Myanmar Convention Centre.

Athletes from eight countries are competing across multiple height, weight and symmetry categories, with prejudging rounds and finals taking place at the city-centre venue. The programme also includes an opening ceremony, team competitions and overall titles.
Organisers say the championships bring together some of the region’s top strength and physique athletes for one of the sport’s busiest annual events.
