A man in his 60's is being detained after a man died at a house in Artane

Gardaí have arrested a man in his 60s after an incident in Artane, on Dublin’s northside. Shortly after midnight last night (Friday), gardaí and emergency services were called to a house in the Brookwood Heights estate in Artane, where they found an injured man in his 30s. The casualty was treated at the scene, but was pronounced dead a short time later. The body of the deceased remains at the house, which is preserved for examination by the Garda Technical Bureau. The local Coroner and the Office of the State Pathologist have been notified, and a post-mortem examination will be arranged, the results of which will assist Gardaí in determining the course of their investigation.
