Dublin face Westmeath in Leinster Senior Football Championship finalWestmeath will be making their sixth ever appearance in a Leinster final against a dominant Dublin side.Dublin advanced to the final after a 10-point win over reigning champions Louth, proving that they're back in the game despite their poor league performance and narrowly beating Wicklow by two points at the quarter-final stage.Westmeath have been exceptional in the provincial race so far, hammering Longford, seeing off last year's finalists Meath in a quarter-final with an impressive scoresheet of 4-18. They went on to knock out Kildare, predicted finalists by four points in extra time.The two teams haven't met in championship since the 2020 quarter-final with the Jacks picking them off by 11 points. Westmeath picked up its only Leinster title in 2004 against Laois, whereas Dublin won the title in 2024 against Louth.With Westmeath making it to the provincial final, they have also secured their place in the All Ireland SFC series. They have also picked up a few injuries for key players, with Luke Loughlin ruled out.
