"Stay tuned!"
Belstaff was founded in 1924 in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent and pioneered the use of waxed cotton in waterproof clothing and quickly became popular in the motorcycling world.
Over the decades, the company has seen several changes in ownership and creative direction.
In August 2025, Belstaff was acquired by Castore in a strategic investment by INEOS.
Although the exact location of the new Dalton Park store has not been confirmed, Belstaff will join a line-up of high-profile brands at the outlet centre.
The addition of Belstaff is expected to attract even more visitors, particularly those with an eye for classic British fashion and premium outerwear.
This addition comes as it was announced that the new X1A service will run hourly, Monday to Saturday, connecting Houghton-le-Spring, Newbottle, Penshaw, Washington, Springwell, and Old Durham Road to Dalton Park and Murton.
Ben Gilligan, managing director at Go North East, said: "We’re really excited to be introducing significant improvements to our X1 services and for our passengers to enjoy smoother, more comfortable journeys on new buses, which only joined our fleet in January.
"These service changes will benefit so many people in our communities, including commuters and those enjoying a weekend evening out in Newcastle."
The improved transport links make it easier for shoppers from across the region to visit the outlet centre.
Belstaff’s arrival is the latest in a series of developments at Dalton Park, which continues to grow despite challenging conditions in the retail sector.
