Hantavirus cruise ship passengers begin isolation period
22 people have begun 45 days of isolation in the UK, after being evacuated from the cruise ship hit by a deadly hantavirus outbreak. They’re spending the first 72 hours at Arrowe Park Hospital on Merseyside.
A French woman and an American who’ve also returned to their home countries have tested positive for the virus, while the ship itself has just departed Tenerife for the Netherlands.
