Celtic star Yang takes in first GAA match as St Brigid’s clash with Lamh Dhearg minors
Celtic winger Yang Hyun-Jun was an interested spectator at Hannahstown on Sunday when St Brigid’s and Lamh Dhearg met in the Antrim minor league. The South Korea international was in Belfast to meet his agent Gerry Carlile, the manager of the St Brigid’s minor side, and, according to spectators, the World Cup hopeful was impressed with the physicality and speed of the action. On Saturday, Yang had starred in Celtic’s 3-1 home win over Falkirk which saw them leapfrog Rangers and move into second place as the three-way battle for the Scottish Premier League nears boiling point. Hearts, who came from behind to beat Edinburgh rivals on Sunday, remain in pole position three points ahead of Celtic and four ahead of Rangers.
