Russia loses 1,140 troops and 38 artillery systems in war against Ukraine over past day

The total combat losses of Russian forces from February 24, 2022, to April 22 2026 in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,321,450 personnel, including 1,140 over the past day.  The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 11,885 (+1) Russian tanks, 24,436 (+7) armored fighting vehicles, 40,516 (+38) artillery systems, 1,749 multiple rocket launchers, 1,350 anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 4,549 cruise missiles. The Russian army has also lost 435 warplanes, 350 helicopters, 251,489 (+1,026) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 33 warships/cutters, 2 submarines, 90,925 (+162) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 4,132 pieces of special equipment.
