Queen Elizabeth Was 'Upset' Over Harry & Meghan's Exit
Queen Elizabeth II was heartbroken over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leaving The Firm.
According to royal biographer Robert Hardman, Her Majesty didn't take the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's departure from England well.
"As far as the Queen was concerned, Harry and Meghan had everything handed to them but wanted to throw it all away," the writer told The Telegraph.

"She was enormously upset and terribly sad about a wasted opportunity, but she acted decisively," Hardman claimed.
In January 2020, the pair announced they were leaving the monarchy behind for America.
"After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution," Harry and Meghan confirmed in a statement.
"We intend to step back as 'senior' members of the royal family and work to become financially independent, whilst continuing to fully support Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment," they added.

Despite their vow to support Elizabeth and their relatives, the couple publicly slammed The Firm and accused them of questioning Prince Archie's skin color.
“In those months when I was pregnant [with Prince Archie]... we have in tandem the conversation of, ‘He won’t be given security. He’s not going to be given a title,' and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born," Meghan told Oprah Winfrey during their shocking interview.
“There were several conversations about it," she claimed. “I think that would be very damaging to them. That was relayed to me from Harry. Those were conversations that his family had with him. It was really hard to be able to see those as compartmentalized conversations."
In response to the claims, the late leader of England and Buckingham Palace released a statement.
"The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan," the message read via NPR.
"The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately," it continued. "Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members."
