David Haye’s famous ex speaks out after ‘throuple’ claim and I’m A Celebrity backlash

Una Healy has reflected on her dating history, admitting things haven’t been ‘the best’ due to previous throuple claims involving David Haye.
It was the gossip gripping the internet three years ago, as The Saturdays star, 44, was reported to be in a three-way relationship with boxer David, 45, and his girlfriend, Sian Osborne.
While Una has denied that this was the case, it’s remained a hot topic, one that gained airtime once more when David entered I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! South Africa camp, where he’s sparked fury by referring to Sian as an ‘ugly duckling’ among other sexist remarks, making viewers switch off.
Now, in a new interview, the Up singer has reflected on the ‘situationship’ she was in, keen to move forward.
Speaking to The Sun, Una began: ‘I haven’t had the best track record.

‘I’ve moved on so long ago from all that. You live and learn in life. I think that I’ve learned now what I don’t want, and I’m going to have my non-negotiables, what I will not tolerate or put up with.’

‘I don’t want to do the whole situationship thing,’ she declared. ‘I’ve done that; I tried that. It’s not very fulfilling. I’ve actually written a song about it.’
She went on to say that songwriting is like her ‘diary on how [she’s] feeling at the time’, having previously penned the tune Walk Away about David.
Released in June 2023, its lyrics included: ‘You had my heart in a noose while you were filling your boots / Had a soul like worn-out leather / Now you can step aside / And I will walk on by, by.’
Una, who was married to rugby player Ben Foden from 2012 to 2018 and shares two kids with him, is now living in the house she grew up in, having rebuilt herself after Ben cheated and remarried.
She’s also happily single, having previously dated jockey Aidan Coleman and Irish singer Darren Flynn. On her current relationship status, she insisted she’s ‘very happy on [her] own right now’.

Photos of the trio holidaying and dining together were shared on social media, as Una travelled to Ibiza in late 2022 to celebrate David’s birthday with him and Sian.
While innocuous enough, fans began putting pieces together when Una spent Christmas and New Year with the couple in Morocco, at which time the Irish songstress shared a snap of them all hand-in-hand with the caption: ‘I’ve started 2023 in a comfortable place, feeling genuinely happy and at peace. Here’s to this year being ours x’
David also declared them both ‘beautiful human beings’ who accepted his ‘authentic self’, with The Sun later ‘confirming’ the throuple dynamic after David and Sian sought out a third person on dating app Raya. Following dates with other women, David hit it off with Una.
Fast forward a few months, though, and all traces of the so-called throuple were gone from Una’s page, and she declared she had been ‘hoodwinked’ into it.
Denying ever dating Sian at all, the Higher hitmaker called Sian a ‘really nice girl’, and, despite getting to ‘know her very well’, it ‘wasn’t a throuple’.
‘The T word, – I had to Google it myself because I’d never heard it. I was like, “What is this? Why am I being called this name that I have never heard of? I don’t know what it is”,’ she told Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally on their podcast, adding that David claimed he ‘doesn’t believe the traditional relationship exists anymore’.

She further confessed that her fling with David was merely ‘a bit of fun’, always knowing he wasn’t ‘husband material’.
Una also explained that David was upfront from the start, informing her when they first started chatting that she ‘wasn’t the only woman he was seeing’.
‘I was very aware he was seeing other people. I knew he was being honest, and it’s not like I was being cheated on.’
Despite this, they were only together, if you’d call it that, for a few months, with Una saying the whole thing had ‘run its course’.
‘I don’t want to be part of a three-way relationship.’

David appeared to confirm his polyamory when he posted about Una and Sian, whom he began dating in 2020, being the ‘queens in [his] life’ on Valentine’s Day.
But according to one of his exes, who spoke to The Mirror, ‘one woman will never be enough for him’.
And after parting ways with Una, he became romantically entangled with Corrie actress Helen Flanagan, having first met on I’m A Celeb in 2012.
Helen later said she struggled with the arrangement: ‘He had a girlfriend and an open relationship. I didn’t mean to fall in love with him, but I did.
‘We did have this amazing connection together – we were like fire. It was weird – I think he does love his girlfriend, and he loves me as well. It just brings me to a part in my life that was quite dark.’
Like Una, Helen denied dating Sian, saying she ‘felt very guilty’ about everything.

When David entered I’m A Celebrity’s second All Stars series last year, producers were reportedly ‘desperate’ for him to spill some beans on his romances.

But while Gemma Collins wasted no time in chatting to Adam Thomas about it, saying she ‘can’t get over’ the stories, David doesn’t want to entertain a discussion.
According to a source, he ‘decided he did not want to talk about his private life,’ which still didn’t stop Ant and Dec from making cheeky jokes about it being ‘busy around his house’.
It also didn’t prevent David from shocking his fellow campmates with his description of Sian, saying that she is ‘lovely’ but has the personality of a ‘proper ugly bird’.
The likes of Scarlett Moffatt scolded him with, ‘You can’t say that!’, while those watching at home branded him ‘sexist’.
