The employee masked her identity by wearing a hooded sweatshirt and entered the winery in the town of Castrillo de Duero the early morning of February 18, 2024. Once inside, she keyed in the code for the alarm system, which she was not aware was shut off and activated it. The worker was able to activate three of the five tanks she was able to access before fleeing.
