Emmerdale won’t air at 8pm again tonight, here’s why and when it’s back
Emmerdale fans will need to adjust their evening plans once again, as the ITV soap has been shifted from its usual slot tonight (Tuesday, April 14) – so what time is it on?
With sport and special programming continuing to shake up the schedule, Emmerdale – along with Coronation Street – has been moved, leaving many viewers double-checking when to tune in.

Is Emmerdale on tonight and what time does it air?
Tonight, Emmerdale will not air at its usual 8pm slot.
On Tuesday, April 14, Emmerdale will not air as normal at 8pm on ITV. Coronation Street which usually follows at 8.30pm has also been cancelled.
The ITV power hour has been taken off the schedule to make way for coverage of the Women’s European Qualifier match between England’s Lionesses and Spain.
Over the last few weeks, there has been a lot of disruption to the soaps for sport. Some think if ITV brought the power hour earlier, it might make more sense as then the soaps could possibly still air whenever the sport is on!
Fear not, though, because Emmerdale will return to our screens on Wednesday April 15. The episode will drop at 7am tomorrow morning on ITVX or YouTube.

What happens in Emmerdale tomorrow?
In tomorrow’s episode, Bear is in big trouble when the police uncover bank statements showing Ray was making payments into accounts under his name.
DS Walsh presents her findings to Bear, who foolishly reveals Ray promised to take care of him. Walsh then accuses Bear of murdering Ray to seize control of his criminal organisation. How will he explain himself?
Meanwhile, Jacob gets dealt a nasty shock when he discovers he and Dr Todd are now neighbours. His manipulative boss has accepted Vanessa’s offer of a place to stay and is moving her belongings in. Fans fear there is worse to come for Jacob, and sadly they’re not wrong.

Charity announces she wants to throw Sarah a baby shower, but it’s not long before her guilt resurfaces.
