Government choosing not to punish paedophiles
In Ireland, a person caught with child sex abuse material for the first time nearly always walks free from court. I’ve seen it happen many times.
Contrast this, if you will, with the case of Garda Séan Shields, who was given a mandatory driving ban of two years and a €500 fine as a result of his efforts to stop two masked thugs on scramblers.
