Bitcoin, crypto stocks slipping lower alongside broader markets
00:00 Speaker A Let's get a check on crypto brought to you by the National Cryptocurrency Association. 00:03 Speaker A Right now, we're taking a look at Bitcoin that's down 1 and 1/2% around 67,000 per token. 00:10 Speaker A I do want to point out that if we pull up a year-to-date chart, you can see that Bitcoin has been trading within a range between 66,000 and around 73,000. 00:19 Speaker A Jury's out on whether or not we've seen a bottom. Bernstein recently saying that they believe that Bitcoin has bottom, but you've got other analysts out there that are saying that it could take a leg lower before it rallies into year end. 00:29 Speaker A We're looking also at altcoins that are under pressure. So you've got ETH that's down more than 3 and 1/2% today. XRP is also lower Ripple and also Solana down more than 5%. 00:37 Speaker A And then just taking a look at crypto stocks, we are seeing these are under pressure Microstrategy or strategy down 2 and 1/2%. 00:44 Speaker A You've got Coinbase that's down 1%, but I'm just going to pull up a year-to-date chart so you can see coin circle that's up 12% year to date. 00:53 Speaker A This is on the stable coin boom.
