The shining Costa Calida municipality of Mazarron is set to host one of its most vibrant youth culture events in April, as Mazafreak returns with a packed programme celebrating gaming, comics, and alternative entertainment.
Mazarron’s favourite geek convention is back for its fourth year
The event, which is now in its fourth edition, is organised with a focus on accessibility, as it will be free to attend and open to all ages. A celebration of anime, manga, comics, video games, and board games, the event is designed to bring together different strands of “geek” culture in a lively and interactive setting, encouraging creativity and community engagement.
Laser tag, cosplay competitions, food trucks, and much more in Mazarron
A diverse selection of activities will be available throughout the day, including virtual reality experiences, video game zones and retro arcades, alongside fun board games and brain-teasing escape room challenges. For those looking for something more active, there will also be laser tag, climbing activities and other interactive attractions.

The event is also expected to attract a fair share of cosplayers, offering competitions and workshops where attendees will have the chance to show off their elaborate costumes or learn new and creative skills.
