Fans torch Netflix over insensitive Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian documentary title: 'Is he dead?'
A number of social media users called out Netflix on Wednesday for the title of its new documentary Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom.The title is a play on Odom's brush with death after a drug overdose at the Love Ranch, a Nevada brothel, in October 2015; and how his then-spouse Khloe Kardashian rallied to his side at his lowest ebb.'This documentary traces the life of Lamar Odom,' Netflix said in a logline, 'from his rise to NBA fame and marriage to Khloe Kardashian to his near-fatal overdose in a Nevada brothel.'Multiple users said the title of the project was confusing, leading some to erroneously infer that Odom, 46, was no longer alive.'Lamar Odom died?!????' one user asked of the reality star/athlete, who played forward for the Los Angeles Clippers and Lakers the bulk of his NBA career.
