CDO supporters mark ex-president Duterte's birth anniversary
CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY—Festivities, food and entertainment marked the 81st birth anniversary celebration here of detained former president Rodrigo Duterte as close to a thousand supporters gathered on Saturday night. Amid chants and cheers, Duterte’s supporters listened to Talaandig musician Rodelio “Waway” Saway and other local performers until 10 p.m. at the Kiosko Kagawasan in Plaza Divisoria, a site known for anti-dictatorship rallies in the 1980s.
