Buckinghamshire criminals jailed in February, 2026
From dangerous driving to attempted burglar, drug dealing and modern day slavery offences, courts and law enforcement across the county were kept very busy last month.
The prison sentences given out ranged from mere months to an entire decade.
Here's a summary of the criminals jailed in February, including cases in Bucks and suspects from Bucks.
Taffyn Betnay, aged 35, of Benouville Close, Oxford, Tony Cooke, aged 26, of no fixed abode, and Tom Loveridge, aged 44, of no fixed abode, were each jailed for nine years after they broke into a house in Coal Mews armed with a baseball bat, a claw hammer, and an imitation firearm.

Muhammed Qasim Saleem, aged 27, of St Highs Avenue, High Wycombe, was jailed for four years for drug dealing offences after officers caught him with heroin and cannabis.

Traf Almaghrabi, aged 24, was jailed for ten years for causing death by dangerous driving after a fatal crash on the M40 near Beaconsfield where Almaghrabi initially fled the scene before handing himself in at Wycombe police station.

Alexander Simmons, aged 26, of Portway Road, Twyford, was sentenced to three years and three months in prison after he drove his Mercedes on the wrong side of the road on the A41, crashing into another car and leaving a 56-year-old woman with life changing injuries.

Simon Bennett, aged 26, of St Peters Avenue, Aylesbury, and George Watts, aged 28, of Roxwell Path, Aylesbury, were jailed for four years and eleven months and three years and one month, respectively, for their roles in a cocaine dealing network in the Aylesbury area.

Phillip Grace, aged 43, of Cleavers Avenue, Conniburrow, Milton Keynes, was sentenced to nine years and four months in prison after sending sexual messages to a Facebook account he thought belonged to a 12-year-old girl but which was actually a decoy set up by an activist group.

Jaye Cardy and George Cardy, were sentenced to five years and two-years-ten-months, respectively, after the brothers conned thousands of pounds from an Amersham widow in her 80s for unnecessary roof repairs.

Nexhat Hoda, aged 41, of no fixed abode, was jailed for two years and four months for drug dealing in Aylesbury, and will be deported once he has served his sentence.

Jamie Bolton, aged 25, of no fixed abode, was jailed for 20 weeks after he was caught with a blade and breached an order that banned him from begging or entering certain parts of High Wycombe.

Jason Murray, 47, of no fixed abode, was jailed for four months after admitting he was going to Chesham equipped for theft when he was caught with a balaclava, two pairs of gloves, a signal device, screwdriver and latex gloves.
