Details of the alleged offences have only just been released to the media today.
It is reported that on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 three men checked into the Alexandra Hotel in Pound Street. They were asked to leave the premises on Thursday, December 18 2025, which they complied with.
However, it was subsequently discovered that they had caused damage to their hotel room and the credit card they had used to pay for it was fraudulent, a police spokesperson said.
