Beloved X Factor star resurfaces after Harry Styles release
A former X Factor contestant has resurfaced on social media and fans are feeling nostalgic.
Aiden Grimshaw appeared on the show back in 2010 at the same time as when One Direction got their big break.
With Harry Styles releasing a new album recently, Aiden was asked by a ‘national paper’ about what he is up to these days.

The 33-year-old decided to use this opportunity to share an update on his life to TikTok, as well as showing off a new song he released this year.
Aiden has continued his music career since debuting on the singing show 16 years ago, sharing updates to his thousands of followers online.
In January, he released the first of a new ‘bunch’ of songs and another is soon on its way.

Aiden teased his upcoming song by performing on TikTok, while providing followers with a ‘where are they now’ update.
He wrote: ‘My name is Aiden Grimshaw. In 2011, I was on the X Factor. I think I came 9th.
‘Today, I got interviewed by a national paper. Basically, the premise was Harry Styles has got an album out, what’s everyone else doing with their lives?

‘It was a great chat and for the first time in years, I was excited to chat about it all and it made me feel great about how happy I am just existing here making this music…‘So this is me and this is what I’ve been doing.’
While Aiden was one year off from when he actually starred on X Factor, nostalgic fans were quick to remind him.

One user wrote: ‘2010.. only reason I remember is because I met you on the tour.’
Another shared: ‘To say I was obsessed with your Mad World cover is an understatement.’
A third added: ‘The amount of Aiden Grimshaw posters I used to have in my room.’
Yet another commented: ‘It’s probably been said but your version of Mad World was amazing! I wanted you to win so bad back then.’
On X Factor, Aiden made it all the way to the live shows and was the eighth contestant eliminated.
In 2012, he released his debut single Is This Love which debuted at number 35 on the UK Singles Chart.
He also found success with his first album that year, Misty Eye, which reached number 19 on the Chart.
After taking a break from music, he returned in 2015 and has been creating ever since.
