Land Rover is working on a refreshed Range Rover Sport.
We can expect new bumpers and updated lighting units.
Electric variant will join the lineup and a launch is set for 2027.
This year marks the fourth anniversary of the third-generation Range Rover Sport and that means the model is reaching middle age. As a result, it’s getting a facelift to keep things fresh.
A heavily camouflaged prototype was recently spied undergoing testing in Sweden and it appears this will be an evolutionary update. While details are hard to make out, we can expect updated headlights and a lightly revised grille.

Further below, we can see a new front bumper that appears to have larger outer intakes. The mid-mounted intake has also been revised and now features a significantly larger sensor pod. We can also get a glimpse at repositioned parking sensors.

The rear end is heavily disguised, but the model is expected to have new taillights and, possibly, illuminated “Range Rover” lettering. They’re joined by a lightly revised bumper, which now has flatter reflectors. We can also see a faux four-tailpipe exhaust treatment.
Spy photographers noted the interior was “completely disguised,” so it could be hiding some changes. Their extent remains to be seen, but it wouldn’t be surprising to find an updated infotainment system and revised switchgear.

Engine options are largely expected to carryover with minor improvements for increased efficiency and reduced emissions. Details are hazy, but the current lineup includes a 3.0-liter six-cylinder with 355 hp and 395 hp as well as a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 with outputs of 523 hp and 626 hp.
Customers can also get a plug-in hybrid that combines the six-cylinder engine with an electric motor and a sizable battery pack. This gives the model an electric-only range of 51 miles (82 km). Spy photographers have also snapped a fully electric variant and it’s expected to borrow heavily from the upcoming Range Rover EV.
