Justin Bieber’s romantic meal out with wife Hailey Bieber ended with a surprisingly tense exchange as paparazzi waited by their car.
The pair, who are parents to two-year-old Jack, headed to dinner at Sushi Park in West Hollywood on Friday night.
While their date night went to plan in the restaurant, they faced photographers as they stepped into a waiting car.
After sliding into the backseat next to his wife, Justin, 32, decided to throw his open bottle of water over the roof of the vehicle, as seen in a video on TMZ.
It didn’t hit anyone, instead landing on the floor as the photographers stepped away from the car, which then sped away.
Hailey, 29, appeared to be totally unfazed by the interaction and even took a selfie in the car after the clash.

The Rhode founder has previously shared her and Justin’s approach to the paparazzi, saying they refuse to be chased out of Los Angeles.
‘There’s no leaving LA for us. We love it here,’ she told Vogue last year. ‘Our house is my element, and my sanctuary. It’s where my heart is, for sure.’
She and the Love Yourself singer married in September 2018, having known each other since they were teenagers (but for many years dated other people).
Justin has not hidden his feelings towards paparazzi, previously telling a photographer not to say ‘thank you’ to him when crashing his evening.
While leaving the Beverly Glen Deli in February last year, the Sorry hitmaker said it was ‘disrespectful’ to thank him, because he’s ‘not asking [them] to be here’.
The photographer replied that he was just thanking him for ‘everything you do for us’, to which Justin retorted: ‘I’m just saying I don’t want you to be here.’

‘When you thank me, it’s disrespectful. Just take your pictures and let me do my thing, okay?’
His most infamous interaction was when he told a photographer they were ‘not getting it’ and it was not ‘clocking’ to them that he was ‘standing on business’.
In the lesser-seen continuation of that video, Justin then said: ‘I’m a real dad, a real husband, a real man. So don’t f***ing do this s**t to me, OK? I’m not to be f***ed with. I don’t know who’s paying you to provoke me, but I’m not the one.’
The couple are incredibly private when it comes to their son, Jack Blues Bieber, who was born in August 2024.

The tot never goes with them on public outings if possible and they cover his face when posting rare pictures together.

While he’s not directly addressed being a parent in the spotlight, in 2019, he reflected on his relationship with fame after being discovered at 13.
‘Have you noticed the statistics of child stars and the outcome of their life,’ he wrote on Instagram. ‘There is an insane pressure and responsibility put on a child who’s [sic] brain, emotions, frontal lobes (decision making) aren’t developed yet….’
Both parents appeared determined to keep Jack away from the public eye for as long as possible, even if they continue to be photographed constantly.
