Cheltenham comes around on Tuesday and there might not be a sharper judge in racing than Paul Byrne, who has given a rare interview to The Currency. He’s a close friend of JP McManus, the billionaire racehorse owner and former bookmaker. The betting firm he co-founded – FitzBet – recently launched a new app and website at its offices on Dublin’s Fitzwilliam Place, where I met staff on Thursday.
