Iran has launched a series of retaliatory strikes across the Middle East today, with five missiles intercepted in Saudi Arabia and ten shot down in Qatar. US President Donald Trump vowed on Friday that he would no longer negotiate with Iran, and said the only way for them to bring the conflict to a close was 'unconditional surrender.' Meanwhile, Sir Keir Starmer promised Saudi Arabia's crown prince Mohammed bin Salman that the UK 'stood ready' to wade into the crisis in the Middle East and back their defense - after finally allowing Trump to use UK military bases in his attacks on Iran.
