Dominique Nugent has shared an emotional full-circle moment with her followers, returning to the exact same spot where she once stood facing deep uncertainty about her future.
But this time, she’s more than halfway through her pregnancy.
The influencer reflected on a difficult period in her life when she had just been discharged from the hospital following a frightening ulcerative colitis flare.
At the time, she had begun long-term medication for her condition and was faced with life-altering questions from doctors about whether she hoped to have children, as it would influence her treatment plan.
“I remember being asked if I wanted children so they could decide the safest treatment plan, and feeling so unsure about what our future would hold,” she shared.
Dominique described that chapter as one filled with illness and fear.
Now, standing in the very same place but in a completely different season of life, she reflected on just how much can change in a short space of time.
“The journey here wasn’t simple. It was filled with illness, IVF, and so many quiet battles.

“If you’re in the hard chapter, hold on,” she reassured.
Dominique annouced her pregnancy last December, sharing the news on Instagram.
“After years of heartbreak, loss and longing, I can’t quite believe I get to write these words and share this news. It’s finally our turn,” she wrote.
“IVF has given us our little Christmas wish and, all going well, our rainbow baby will be coming this summer.”
