An aircraft engine sitting in storage in Tipperary tells the story of a freshly filed legal dispute between two of the world’s biggest engine and aircraft lessors. Willis Lease Finance Corporation, an engine lessor, through its trustee Wells Fargo, has filed a lawsuit in the US against two Irish entities of China Aircraft Leasing Company, better known as CALC, the Hong Kong-listed aviation leasing giant with more than 200 aircraft in its fleet.
