Essex woman, 19, hopes to inspire others after opening business
Fleur Campion has always wanted to create something to inspire other people, and at the age of 19 she has done just that.
Starting out as just a hobby, Fleur managed to transform her passion for beauty into a full-time job and business.
Fleur's Beauty and Wellness Salon opened in Fowler's Arcade, Frinton, last month.

She said: "Starting so young has definitely taught me resilience, discipline and confidence.
"I hope my journey shows other young people that if you’re passionate and willing to work hard, you can create opportunities for yourself."
After achieving her Level 2 and 3 beauty therapy qualifications and investing in further training, Fleur opened her salon.
The former Colchester Institute student said: "Owning a business at 19 feels surreal but incredibly rewarding. It’s something I’m extremely proud of.
"It can feel overwhelming at times but, more than anything, it feels empowering to have built something of my own at such a young age."

Fleur has been interested in beauty from a "very young age".
She said: "I’ve always loved the creativity behind it and how it can completely transform not just someone’s look, but their confidence too.
"Over the years, that passion naturally grew into wanting to pursue it as a career rather than just a hobby.
"I was inspired to start my business because I wanted independence and the chance to create something personal to me.
"I didn’t feel that the university route was right for me – I wanted to get straight into the industry, build real experience, and work directly with clients.
"I gradually built my skills and confidence before officially opening my salon."

The business offers a wide range of beauty treatments including lash lifts, massages, eyebrow treatments and other services.
Fleur said: "My salon is a cosy, private space offering one-to-one appointments, so clients get a calm and personal experience.
"I really focus on creating a relaxing environment where people feel comfortable and looked after."
