Blast of Power: King Charles Views Cutting-Edge Artillery
A blast of power greeted King Charles III as he visited the Royal Regiment of Artillery at Baker Barracks, Thorney Island. The King watched an impressive gun salute and observed soldiers in camouflage conducting air defence drills, including mobile multiple launchers and UAV demonstrations. He met members of the 7th Air Defence Group, active-duty families, and community groups, before unveiling a commemorative plaque and joining a celebratory cake-cutting. The visit concluded with King Charles greeting local schoolchildren and members of the public.
