Trench coat-wearing maniac randomly punches 4 women walking down NYC street: cops
A trench coat-wearing maniac randomly punched four women as they walked in Upper Manhattan last week, cops said Thursday.
The unhinged man stormed each victim – ages 52, 24, and two aged 35 – around 7 p.m. Feb. 12 at West 122nd Street and Broadway in Morningside Heights and slugged them in the face, authorities said.

He then callously fled the scene, heading south on Broadway, police said.
All of the women refused medical attention, except for one of the 35-year-olds, who was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition, cops said.
The assailant did not know any of the victims and the attacks were unprovoked, police said.

Footage and photos released by the NYPD show the lanky, bearded suspect wearing a black trench coat over a tan and gray jacket, blue jeans and white and red sneakers, carrying something in a plastic bag – and at one point flashing a grin as he strolls down the street.
