Miami date turns into a nightmare as woman traveled three hours only to be kidnapped and strangled in dirty home
A Florida man has been arrested after he allegedly kidnapped and strangled a woman he met on a dating app after luring her to his Miami apartment with her young daughter in tow.Saady Castellanos Triminio, 34, was charged with false imprisonment, battery by strangulation, robbery and child neglect on Saturday.Triminio met the unidentified woman through the Facebook dating app and they talked for two weeks before arranging to meet, according to an arrest affidavit viewed by Daily Mail.The victim told police she lives in Orlando, and Trimino offered to buy her and her three-year-old daughter a Brightline train ticket to Miami, about a three hour ride, so they could meet in person and celebrate his birthday together.She arrived in Magic City on Friday evening and said she believed they would be going out to dinner at a restaurant, but Trimino bought a pizza and took the woman and her daughter to his home instead. 'Upon arrival at the residence, the victim stated she began feeling uneasy about the situation and was hesitant to remain there due to the condition of the home,' the arrest affidavit stated.'She observed that the bathroom lacked toilet paper and described the home as generally dirty.'However, the woman decided to stay and talk with Trimino until her asked her for a kiss and a hug. The woman began texting her friend begging for help when Trimino allegedly took her cell phone from her. 'The victim began screaming for help. The defendant then covered her mouth and nose with his hand to prevent her from yelling, where she stated that she couldn't breathe,' the affidavit stated.Eventually, Triminio released her and she was able to grab her phone and barricade herself in a separate room with her daughter until police arrived. Police noted the victim had visible bruises on both arms, but declined medical assistance at the scene.Trimino was subsequently arrested and is being held at the Miami-Dade County Jail on $7,500 bond.Jail records also indicate that Trimino has an immigration hold.
