At the time of the email, TMZ had not reported on Ferguson's financial dealings with Epstein. However, on social media, users have accused TMZ of providing low-key coverage of the 2026 Epstein Files dump by the DOJ.Levin, meanwhile, has been in the news for his role in the ongoing kidnapping case of Savannah Guthrie's mother, Nancy Guthrie, where he has appeared on broadcasts to discuss multiple unverified ransom emails received by TMZ, including demands for millions in cryptocurrency and offers of information in exchange for payment.Levin is yet to respond to the specific Epstein email.
