Everyone knows it costs almost double to jet off on holiday in summer, so to keep the costs downs, some sun-worshippers have been taking their vacations earlier in the year. To help out, holiday expert Rob has shared the four "best" places to visit in March, saying the offers the same level of sunshine as your usual July to August getaways.In an Instagram video, Rob, who is known as @rob.onthebeach on social media, said: "I've seen loads of people asking me recently, where's hot in March? But the better question is, where's hot and cheap this March? Because March might just be the perfect month for a holiday."We're coming out of winter at home, the mornings are brighter, but it's still freezing and wet. And in March, holiday demand is still relatively low, which means some destinations really fly under the radar on heat and price."To come up with his shortlist, he accessed various countries for their March weather, booking trends and live pricing.Starting his list, he shared: "In fourth place, I've picked Fuerteventura, because March is one of my favourite months for the Canaries, and Fuerteventura is probably my favourite island."You're getting heat in the 20s, loads of sunshine, and it's warm enough all day without feeling sticky like it can do in summer. Plus it's quieter, calmer, and everything just feels easier."Next, he turned his attention to Paphos, saying: "March in Cyprus is criminally underrated".He said: "It's not roasting, but it's still really warm. Sun on your face, lunches outside, pool days when the sun's out, and it's way less touristy than summer."He put Egypt in second place due to its enjoyable temperature, adding: "High 20s to low 30s most days. Wall-to-wall sunshine, and seawater that's perfect for swimming in, snorkelling in, or just floating in doing absolutely nothing."Finally, he named Las Vegas as his number one holiday destination for March.He said: "I know it's a bit of a wild card, but hear me out. March in Vegas is bang on. Hot days, cooler evenings, loads and loads and loads to do.
