While promoting The Testament of Ann Lee at the Berlin International Film Festival, the actor chose to say goodbye to winter dressing style cues.
Given that the film centers on the 18th-century Shaker leader Ann Lee, full method dressing would have been on the table. Instead, Seyfried leaned into something more modern and bold and chose to go for a trend her peers like Sydney Sweeney and Anne Hathaway love—visible undergarments.

For the event, she wore a fit-and-flare dress in black crochet lace that was a breathable and airy twist on recent celebrity red carpet looks. The piece was decorated with ruffled sleeves that added shape, while the sheer construction revealed glimpses of a white and pale blue bra and underwear underneath set. Perhaps it was even a bikini?
Working with longtime stylist Elizabeth Stewart, Seyfried paired the dress with slingback kitten heels from Miu Miu and softly tousled waves. Her makeup was kept equally refined with dark fluffy brows and a soft touch of mauve blush.
