FAI Choose Sportskey as Official Facility Software Provider

Irish sports technology company SportsKey has been appointed as the official sports facility management software provider to the Football Association of Ireland (FAI). The partnership will see SportsKey’s platform used to manage pitch scheduling and facility operations across the FAI’s infrastructure, streamlining the administration of Ireland’s national football facilities at a time of continued growth in participation and activity. The announcement is a major one for the Irish-founded business, which has spent recent years working with local football clubs nationwide to manage facility scheduling and rentals. It was a winner in 2024 of the Best Sports Business at the Sport Industry Awards, an award which Sport for Business is a previous winner of. Craig Bewley, Founder and CEO of SportsKey, said the agreement represents a proud moment for the company. “It is a great day for our business. We all want to see the Irish teams do well and to know that we are now the platform that the home of Irish football will be using to manage their fields means a lot to us and gives us a great sense of pride,” he said. The FAI said the move reflects its commitment to investing in modern digital tools to support the ongoing development of the game. “We’re delighted to be partnering with SportsKey as our sports facility management software provider,” added Eoin O’Donnell, Director of Football Infrastructure, Facilities and Technology at the FAI. “As activity continues to grow across the FAI, it’s important that we invest in modern, digital tools that simplify operations and give us better visibility across our facilities. “SportsKey will play a key role in helping us manage our pitches more efficiently today, supporting a more scalable, future-focused approach as Irish football continues to grow.” Image Credit: Sportskey Upcoming Events       SPORT FOR BUSINESS Sport for Business is Ireland’s leading platform focused on the commercial, strategic and societal impact of sport.
