Ye’s Wife Bianca Censori Called To Testify In Mogul’s Malibu Lawsuit
Bianca Censori may be called to testify in an ongoing Los Angeles Superior Court dispute involving her husband, mogul Ye, better known as Kanye West, over renovations to his Malibu oceanfront property.
Court filings indicate that a contractor who sued Ye in 2023 is seeking to compel Censori’s testimony. The contractor alleges unpaid wages, labor code violations, and wrongful termination stemming from work performed at the $57 million residence Ye purchased in September 2021.
According to reports citing court documents, Censori was previously identified as an intermediary during the renovation process. That characterization, first detailed in a 2024 feature by The New Yorker, appears to underpin the request to have her take the stand.
The contractor claims Ye ordered extensive structural changes, including the demolition of marble bathrooms and the removal of plumbing, windows and electrical systems. He further alleges Ye proposed relocating large generators inside the home. The contractor says he warned that such a move would pose a fire hazard.

In recounting an alleged confrontation, the contractor claims Ye told him, “If you don’t do what I say, you’re not going to work for me. I’m not gonna be your friend anymore and you’ll just see me on TV.” He alleges he was terminated shortly thereafter.
The contractor seeks more than $1 million in damages. In statements reported by NBC News, he described Ye’s design concept as resembling a “bomb shelter from the 1910s,” adding that Ye wanted no electricity, “only candles,” “only plants,” and “battery lights.”
Ye has denied the allegations. In separate litigation filed in January 2026, he challenged a $1.8 million lien placed on the property. Court records show a judge later released the lien and awarded Ye attorneys’ fees.
