While many of us are worked up about squeezing in our five a day, there are influencers out there eating mounds of deep-fried doughnuts and icing from the bucket for breakfast. They title the videos: 'What a fat girl eats in a day.'
If you are acquainted with the wacky world of mukbangs, which sees people record themselves eating meals, this new trend is sure to scratch a spot in your brain!

TikTokers, some of whom rack up to 10,000 calories a day, give viewers food envy as they show off all of the beige plates they eat each day. Common foods featured in the videos include plenty of fast food, plates of chips, and lots of sugary drinks.
Some influencers even give the audience a chance to get involved, asking: 'What should I eat next?' They also tend to time-stamp the videos so people know when they are eating the meals, with some starting the sugar spree as early as 7 am.

While a lot of the influencers are from the United States, some British people have been hopping on the trend. Christy Collins is one such content creator.
The English woman, who boasts 215k followers on social media, has been showing off what she realistically eats in a day. People have taken to her comment section to share mixed reactions to the trend.

Another influencer, Brandie Leigh, shares similar videos. The foodie vlogs get mixed reviews, with some taking to the comment section to praise her for being so honest.
'At least she doesn’t try to hide the fact that she’s overweight,' one person said, while another said, 'I love watching you bc you motivate me to eat. My anxiety makes my appetite nonexistent.'
So there you have it, there is a corner of the internet for everything. One warning: don't watch it on an empty stomach or before a trip to the grocery shop!
