Photo: Douglas O'ConnorThe Irish Farmers’ Association president has accused the Agriculture Minister of “failing to deal with the key issue” after a meeting aimed at restoring confidence of farmers in the wake of the furore around the chair of Bord Bia.An earlier statement said that Bord Bia had agreed to “better inform” the public about the origins of food products on sale in the Irish market following discussions with farming industry stakeholders, chaired by Minister for Agriculture Martin Heydon.
