Could This $200 Million Mansion on Miami’s Billionaire Bunker Be Mark Zuckerberg’s Real Target?
Rumors that and Priscilla Chan may be planting roots on Indian Creek Island have been rippling through Miami’s luxury circles over the last week. Early reports suggested the billionaire couple was in contract for the newly completed waterfront estate at 2 Indian Creek Island Road—a property owned by Jersey Mike’s founder Peter Cancro—with the off-market deal rumored to fetch between $150 million and $200 million.
But the story, however, may be more layered than initially believed. Sources have told Robb Report there’s a big name behind the potential purchase of the not-yet-completed mega-mansion at 7 Indian Creek Island Road—currently the only property publicly listed on the heavily fortified island, with a $200 million ask that falls squarely within the rumored range. However, sources could not confirm whether the property is under contract or who exactly the buyer is. Whether that person is Zuckerberg remains unverified, though the timing and price point have naturally fueled even more speculation.
Zuckerberg himself has not publicly acknowledged any transaction. Still, chatter intensified after residents appeared to tell the Wall Street Journal they were “happy to have him” as a neighbor, hinting that a deal could be taking shape inside the guard-gated enclave.
Adding another wrinkle, The Real Deal now reports the Meta CEO is not purchasing the property at 2 Indian Creek, raising the possibility that a different address—perhaps No. 7—is in play. Of course, Indian Creek is notorious for off-market trades, meaning a purchase on the island by the tech titan could just as easily involve a residence that hasn’t formally surfaced for sale.
Owned by Los Angeles–based cosmetic surgeon Aaron Rollins and his wife, Miami real estate agent Marine Rollins, the limestone-clad estate at 7 Indian Creek Island Road has been one of South ’s most closely watched new builds since debuting at a whopping $200 million—a figure that would challenge Miami-Dade County sales records if achieved.
Spanning nearly 28,000 square feet across almost two acres with roughly 200 feet of Biscayne Bay frontage, the nine-bedroom compound was envisioned by internationally recognized designer Ferris Rafauli, who oversaw the architecture, interiors, and landscaping. Plans include a private jazz lounge, a double-height library concealed behind a hidden passage, a 1,500-gallon aquarium dividing the kitchen and dining areas, and a spa suite outfitted with a Himalayan salt wall sauna and steam room. Outside, a 60-foot pool and a 135-foot yacht-ready dock reinforce the property’s trophy credentials.
Should the rumored deal come to fruition, it would mark yet another blockbuster moment for Miami’s luxury sector.
