Man (70s) dies in crash in Co Tipperary
Stock image: PAIrish Independent NewsdeskToday at 20:49A man has died in a single vehicle road collision in Co Tipperary today.The incident took place on the R660 at Holycross shortly after 2.15pmThe sole occupant of the vehicle, a man in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.The man’s body has been removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick, where a post-mortem examination will be conducted. The local Coroner has been notified.A technical examination of the scene has been carried out by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and the road has since fully reopened.Today's News in 90 - Sunday, February 8 Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
