Met Office rain weather warning issued for England and Wales
A weather warning has been issued as "heavy rain" is forecast to cause flooding and travel disruption.The Met Office issued the yellow alert, external for 12:00 to 23:59 GMT on Monday, with the warning area covering parts of southern England and Wales.The warning said 10-15mm (0.4-0.6 inches) of rain would be likely although some areas exposed to strong south to south-easterly winds could have 20-30mm (0.8-1.2 inches).It added the rain could lead to homes and businesses becoming flooded and cause issues for travel services and power supplies.
