Woman dies in daylight stabbing
A 50-year-old woman has died after being fatally stabbed in Willesden.
The Metropolitan Police was called to Pound Lane at 4pm yesterday (January 31) with reports of an incident.
At the scene, the victim was located and found to be suffering stab wounds.
She was pronounced dead a short time later.
London Now understands that members of the public rushed to her aid prior to the arrival of the emergency services.
Her next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
Just hours later, a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
He remains in police custody.
Investigators have revealed they believe the victim and suspect were known to each other.
Man taken to hospital after stabbing outside bar
Officers received reports of a stabbing on Albert Crescent, Chingford Mount, shortly before 4.50am this morning (February 1).
At the scene, a man in his 30s was found with a stab wound.
He has been taken to hospital, where his condition has been confirmed as non-life threatening or changing.
Hall Lane, which runs past Albert Crescent, has been closed since around 5.45am this morning and buses have been diverted.
Man injured to the head after disturbance
A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital with a head injury following an incident in Lewisham.
Reports of a disturbance in Castillon Road, Lee, were made to the Metropolitan Police at around 4.47am this morning.
The male was found at the scene injured and has been taken to hospital, where his condition is said to be non-life threatening or changing.
A crime scene was erected, blocking the road, but has since been taken down.
No arrests have been made.
"Group fight" at club leaves five injured
Officers were dispatched to Camberwell Road, Camberwell, after receiving reports of a fight at a venue at around 2.39am this morning.
At the scene, responders found five people who were injured.
All five were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, and have all since been arrested.
They remain in custody at this time.
