11 Most Anticipated DC Comics For February 2026

February might be the shortest month of the year, but DC is going… Long? I don’t know, this was a bad lede. Anyway, DC Comics has been dominating the charts for the past few months, and that doesn’t look like it’s going to stop in February 26 with the relaunch of Vertigo, the continued dominance of the Absolute Universe, and much more. That “much more” by the way includes the highly anticipated attack of the Absolute Universe on the main DC Universe in the DC K.O. crossover. And in between events, there’s plenty going on with Black Label and other books. With that in mind, let’s get into our list of the most anticipated DC Comics of February 2026, presented in chronological release order. 1. DC K.O.: Boss Battle #1 Release Date: February 4, 2026 Well this is just bananers (that’s a real word, look it up). Tying into the ongoing DC K.O. crossover, multiversal challengers including Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat, Homelander from The Boys, Red Sonja, Vampirella, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Annabelle from The Conjuring and Samantha Strong, aka the serial killer bear from IDW’s Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees enter the arena to take on DC challengers. Wild! 2. Absolute Superman #16 Release Date: February 4, 2026 Absolute Superman vs Absolute Hawkman. ‘Nuff said! 3. The Nice House By The Sea #7 Release Date: February 4, 2026 The Nice House By The Sea #7 kicks off the return of Vertigo in the first week of February, written by James Tynion IV with art by Álvaro Martínez Bueno. While perhaps not the most accessible title to launch with — it’s seven issues into a sequel series — it’s still a big event because this wild sci-fi horror book has already been a big hit, and it’s been away for a while. 4. Superman: Chains Of Love Special #1 Release Date: February 4, 2026 I’m all far ridiculous Valentine’s Day specials, and this one seems pretty silly (complimentary): The Creeper and Livewire hook up, from writers Dan Slott and Leah Williams. Seems fun! 5. DC X AEW #1 Release Date: February 4, 2026 I’ll fully admit that wrestling is a total blindspot for me, but DC is clearly going big with this AEW collabo. The comic will be sold at wrestling matches, and AEW has been promoting DC K.O., so it’s a win-win for everyone, just like how everyone wins in wrestling. Have I mentioned I don’t know what I’m talking about? 6. Absolute Wonder Woman Annual #1 Release Date: February 11, 2026 Over time, annuals have seemed to be more of randomly released over-sized one-shots. But the Absolute Universe ones feel… Different? A little more like that special, once-a-year specials? And this one looks to be no different, thanks to Kelly Thompson crushing it on writing as usual, alongside stellar artist Mattía De Iulis. Here, we find out more about Diana’s relationship to Athena and Medusa. 7. DC K.O. #4 Release Date: February 11, 2026 The highly anticipated showdown between the Final Four of the DC K.O. tournament and the corrupted Absolute Universe trinity (and Booster Gold) happens here, with the issue promising a “bonkers” ending that will make things even crazier going into the finale. How? This is already pretty nuts. 8. Bleeding Hearts #1 Release Date: February 11, 2026 The second (of four) Vertigo titles being released this month, this one is by red hot writer Deniz Camp and Stipan Morian. Yes, this is another zombie book, but the twist is that zombies have evolved over the past decade — and one of them finds his heart beating again, which changes everything. 9. Sirens: Love Hurts #1 Release Date: February 11, 2026 A four issue Black Label series from Tini Howard and Babs Tarr that the team has described as Long Halloween for the girlies, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy all go through different relationship issues while preparing for Black Canary’s upcoming wedding. 10. Absolute Batman #17 Release Date: February 18, 2026 Every successive villain introduced in Absolute Batman has been more and more monstrous. Black Mask was a maniac. Bane was a massive flesh monster. Joker is a dragon man. So of course, Poison Ivy is [checks notes] a sexy lady with plants on her boobs. Okay, well, anyway, every issue of this book has been a banger, and Eric Canete hops in on art, so we’ll just have to hope Ivy gets gross somehow. 11. End Of Life #1 Release Date: February 18, 2026 Oh hey, another Vertigo title! Kyle Starks and Steve Pugh are a fantastic team, and this title plays to their strengths as a hitman returns home only to find the stuff going on in his old stomping grounds is as weird if not weirder than the animal-themed assassins he’s trying to escape. Having read the first few issues of this, it’s wild, it’s weird, it’s funny, and you’re gonna love to hate the main character. 12. Absolute Wonder Woman #17 Release Date: February 25, 2026 Two issues of Absolute Wonder Woman in one month? What a time to be alive! Here after the official debut of Absolute Zatanna, Diana is taking on the Absolute Suicide Squad, and it’s absolutely going very poorly for our heroes. 13. Absolute Martian Manhunter #9 Release Date: February 25, 2026 One of the most gorgeous books on the stands continues this issue. Not sure what to tell you that’s new about this one, other than every issue is a must-pick-up. 14. Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2 #7 Release Date: February 25, 2026 A lot of this sequel series has felt like it’s been holding off on the fireworks until the final issue. Hey, guess what? This is the final issue! Featuring all the monsters, all the Justice Leaguers, and the Suicide Squad for good measure, it should be interesting to see how the team brings this all together. 15. The Peril of the Brutal Dark: An Ezra Cain Mystery #1 Release Date: February 25, 2026 The final Vertigo title on our list, this comes from the team of Chris Condon and Sean Phillips, who have been tearing it up on Image’s That Texas Blood for years. Hey, guess what? This is a great book, too, a mix of Indiana Jones-style adventure and noir tropes featuring a new detective character the team is hoping to spin off into multiple comic book, novel-esque series. “Graphic novels,” if you will. I came up with that term, you must credit me if you use it. 16. New History of the DC Universe: The Dakota Incident #1 Release Date: February 25, 2026 An interesting one to end our list here… This is technically a spinoff from Mark Waid’s New History of the DC Universe, but instead is about an untold moment from Dakota City involving Static and others. Why is it tied to the previous miniseries? You’ll have to read to find out! I will, too! Comic Book Club Live Info: Want to watch Comic Book Club live?
