Lusaint shares new single 'Shoot You Dead'
Today, Lusaint shares a brand new single ‘Shoot You Dead’, the next instalment from the upcoming EP, “The Apothecary (Pt. 2)”. Listen here. The Manchester singer-songwriter will be embarking on her debut EU & UK headline tour, which culminates in a night at London’s Oslo.
Following on from recently released tracks ‘Blind’ and ‘Waterfalls’, ‘Shoot You Dead’ explores where Lusaint’s mind goes in darker moments, revealing emotional revelations and freedom from old vices. Blending pop melodies with a Nashville-tinged sound, the track builds to a cool, controlled crescendo as guitars, percussion and drums swell beneath her steady, assured vocals. Sultry and slightly eerie, it’s a pop song with a nostalgic edge, echoing the spirit of Fleetwood Mac.Lusaint’s debut EU and UK headline tour will see her play 25 dates across 11 countries this Spring, finishing with 7 UK shows in iconic venues across the country including Glasgow’s King Tut’s, London’s Oslo and her hometown Manchester’s Band on the Wall. Tickets are now on sale here.
Speaking on the single, Lusaint says: “The song explores the darker corners of dependency and control—where the mind invents dramatic ways to imagine freedom”
On her first ever EU & UK headline tour, Lusaint adds: “I am so excited for my first European and UK headline tour. I can’t wait to play new music from my Apothecary EP with my band across so many cities and venues.”
2025 was a jam-packed year for Lusaint, which has seen her support Micheal Kiwanuka, alongside a string of UK and European festivals, including Montreux Jazz Festival, and the release of her new EP “The Apothecary (PT.1)”. The conclusion of the two-part project, “The Apothecary (Pt. 2)”, is due for release on 17th April 2026 – available to pre-sale/order here.
