'Swimming pool included' - Everyone saying the same thing as Dublin home hits market
For €240,000, a mid terrace three-bed in Dublin almost sounds too good to be true. Probably because it is.
Located near many local amenities, the property sounds great on paper. Unfortunately, once you see it—both inside and out—you realize that calling it a “blank canvas,” as the estate agents do, is a serious understatement.
The inviting graffiti on the front door could be either a prank or a genuine concern – who knows these days. Inside, the living room actually looks alright, aside from the questionable wallpaper.

Heading into the kitchen is where things get ahem interesting—it seems it would need a complete overhaul. It also opens onto a back garden that some people online have compared to a swimming pool because of the flooding.

Heading up the stairs, which will need a few new balustrades, you have the three bedrooms — which, while spacious, will need yet another overhaul.

As for the upstairs bathroom, well… the less said about that the better.

The home was shared by Ray Cooke Auctioneers — who previously managed to sell this house in Finglas, in what can be best described as a literal ‘fire sale’ — where it was, naturally, lampooned on their Instagram.
‘Swimming pool included,’ one joked, while another wrote: ‘Blank canvas?? Needs total gutting.’
‘Gosh you didn’t say it has a lake view from the rear of the house,’ another commented, while another added: ‘I like the graffiti decor. Very urban.’
