Paul Gilbert Henning (Butch) Obituary
Eden Prairie - 69, passed away on January 20th, 2026, in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Born in Chicago to Walter and Sabina Henning, he is a graduate of Gordon Tech High School in Chicago, Illinois and Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. He played varsity basketball at both schools. During his time in college, he met his late wife, Molly McNamara, of 39 years, and after graduation they started their lives together in the Twin Cities. Paul is survived by his two sons, Ryan and Matthew of Eden Prairie. He is also survived by his sister Janet Santicola of Cary, IL, sisters in-law Geri Henning of Aurora, IL, Mary Lee (Ron) Harris of Chicago, IL, Colleen (Mike) Curran of Bloomington, IL, and Maureen McNamara of Mishawaka, IN, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Sabina Henning, brothers Walter Henning, Michael Henning, sisters Kathy Moisa, Eileen Polanski, brothers in-law Gerald Moisa, Michael Polanski, Marius Santicola, nephews Steven Henning, Daniel Moisa, and Daniel Schubbe. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 AM on Monday, February 2nd, at St. Hubert's Catholic Church, 8201 Main St., Chanhassen, MN, with a visitation one hour before Mass at the church. Graveside services will follow a lunch at the church, at St. Hubert Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the celebration of the Mass in Paul's name would be appreciated.
