Hefty diesel price hikes seen to continue on Jan. 27
MANILA, Philippines — There seems to be no let up for local fuel price hikes next week due to supply risks, stronger demand and continued geopolitical tensions, an industry source said. Jetti Petroleum president Leo Bellas said that based on their forecast, diesel prices might increase by P1.20 to P1.40 per liter starting Jan. 27. Gasoline prices might also go up by 30 centavos to 50 centavos a liter.
