It looks like it’s time to break out the scissors!
The bob has been rising in popularity for the past couple of years, with plenty of stars chopping off their tresses.
And the hairstyle is showing no signs of slowing down in popularity, as it was the look of every It Girl on the red carpet over the weekend.
Including Jessie Buckley!
Maybe the shortest on the night was Killarney’s Jessie, styled by Bryce Scarlett into a sleek style, tucked behind her ears. Her golden locks curled at the back of her neck, and we’re obsessed! Bryce used Goldwell products to create the look.
This was giving serious vintage vibes as she took a page out of a 1920s starlet.
Emma Stone, who won her second Oscar for Irish produced film Poor Things in 2023, also styled her signature auburn locks into a wavy bob.
Hair stylist, Mara Roszak, brought us behind the scenes in how she created that effortless look with her own brand, RŌZ Hair. We’re taking notes.
Honorary Irish woman Ayo Edebiri looked like she walked right out of a 1930s Hollywood movie with a voluminous bob on Sunday night. Her hairstylist, Jacob Aaron, used Olaplex to style her chestnut hair into the glamorous look.
Honestly, it might be our favourite style of the night.
Robin Wright followed Jessie Buckley with the short bob tucked behind her eyes. Her golden tresses were styled in a side part as she walked the red carpet.
Selena Gomez may have invented the bob, actually, as she channelled Betty Bop on the Golden Globes red carpet. Her raven locks were styled into a 1930s waves which she paired with a red lip to really cement her old Hollywood glamour aesthetic.
Her hairstylist, Renato Campora, revealed that he used Joico products for the look.
Other stars who rocked the bob on the red carpet included Claire Danes, Rose Byrne and Zoey Deutch.
