Electric luxury brand backs shift to modern mobility lifestyle
Hongqi Philippines has joined the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI), a move that places the premium car brand more firmly within the country’s evolving mobility and lifestyle space.
Distributed locally by EVOxTerra Inc., Hongqi’s membership in CAMPI signals a deeper commitment to the Philippine automotive industry, particularly as more consumers turn toward electrified and sustainability-minded vehicles as part of modern urban living.- Advertisement -
Hongqi has been steadily building its presence in the premium mobility segment, positioning its vehicles as a blend of design, comfort, and emerging electric technology. Its entry into CAMPI aligns the brand with industry discussions on electric vehicle growth, road safety, and long-term development.
Hongqi Philippines president Rashid Delgado said joining the automotive group supports the brand’s direction as it expands its electrified lineup in response to growing demand for premium electric vehicles.
The brand’s momentum locally includes the recent launch of the fully electric E-HS7 and E-H7, models aimed at drivers seeking quieter, cleaner, and design-forward alternatives for daily use. Actress and sustainability advocate Alice Dixson was also recently named brand ambassador, underscoring Hongqi’s lifestyle positioning that ties luxury with environmental awareness.
Hongqi’s Philippine plans follow its global strategy unveiled at the 2025 Auto Shanghai, where the brand outlined a shift toward what it calls “new luxury,” focusing on user experience, technology, and sustainability, alongside plans to roll out 15 new models worldwide over the next three years.
In the Philippines, Hongqi vehicles are available for viewing at showrooms in Bonifacio Global City, Alabang, Manila Bay, and Quezon City, as the brand continues to expand its footprint in the local premium car market.
