But several travellers have experienced just that, and shared their horror stories of what they encountered on flights. One tourist revealed how during an eight-hour flight, a man sat nearby had terrible breath that 'stunk like faeces'.The holidaymaker occupied the middle seat, while a 'large dude on the aisle' sat beside them, they explained on Reddit.However, the passenger 'took up most of the space and always had his arms on the arm rest the whole time'.To make the situation even more unbearable, the tourist described how their seatmate, 'Had the worst breath and every time he exhaled, it stunk like faeces so I could smell it every minute'.'It was so bad the guy next to me on the window seat could smell it,' they added.Hundreds of other tourists took to the comments to share their nightmare experiences on flights. 'He stuck his finger in my food,' the tourist also revealed, all while the child's mother apparently watched a movie.In another nightmare scenario a young couple brought a puppy along with them inside a carrier.However, things took a turn when they let the dog out on the plane. 'The smell was so bad the FA gave us coffee pouches to hold over our noses.' On a different flight, one passenger had their seat broken by a man using it to help him stand up. 'He literally broke my seat, it would not go to an upright position anymore. Landing with a flopping seat back and no way to brace yourself is not something I care to experience ever again,' they recalled.
